About the School

Mountain View College (MVC) is one of the schools in Mindanao located in Mt. Nebo, Valencia City. This school is a private, co-educational, Seventh-day Adventist college and was published in the year 1953. More than 2000 students were enrolled here; most of them came from Mindanao but there are also a quite number of students that came from Luzon and Visayas and international students from some other places like  Cambodia, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, South Korea, the United States, and other countries in Africa and Asia.
This school is an environmentally friendly located at the top mountains with a very good view on different places and quiet surroundings. It is situated between the Kitanglad and Kalatungan mountain ranges and bordered on the north by the Manupali River and on the south by the Anasag and Malingon creeks.



How to get there?

MVC is accessible by public utility jeeps that travel from Valencia City with a distance of about 15 kilometers (9.3 mi). Road conditions vary from asphalted roads, to corrected ones and then graveled.

There are also different spots in this campus, the Jubilee Park, where you can see the beautiful sunrise, the two falls which is the malingon and twin falls, and the MVC resort. All of these are located inside the campus. 


Student Life

Some MVC students are housed in Men’s dormitory, Women’s dormitory and married-student dormitory or the apartment. The rest either stay with the faculty or commute from the nearby sitios, barangays, or municipalities.
Every year the student body of MVC which is the Central Student Council organizes different extracurricular activities such as “Fun Days” and “CSC Days”. There are also different organizations in the campus such as EARTH Society, Advent Explorers, Student Association of Literature Evangelists (SALE), SULADS and many more.
